The Display of Frequency of the Searched Expression

The search engine will count how many times the searched expression occurs in the corpus. This example shows that the word počet joccurs in the corpus 19855 times:

Displaying the Information about the Text Origin

The code, which will enable the text identification(name, author, year of publication ... ), can be displayed for each occurrence.

In the above example, the number on the first position expresses the order of the searched occurrence in the corpus. Symbol doc#64 means that the searched word is located in the 64th document from thebeginning of the corpus. From the displayed symbols we can also find out that the searched word was used in a novel (doc.txtype=NOV), which was published in 1982 (doc.temp=1982).


Search according to Parts of Speech

In corpus SYN2000, each word form is complemented with a morphological tag (a tag which expresses the grammatical categories of the word form) and a lemma (the basic form of the word, that is for nouns). The following example shows how to enter the query command which will find all feminine nouns in the locative singular in the corpus:
