Non-reference corpus
Most of the CNC corpora are reference
corpora, i.e. invariable entities that remain unchanged once published,
so that all the queries, statistics etc. are reproducible and always
give the same results. On the contrary, some corpora are of a
non-reference nature, which means that they are constantly being
improved and extended. The changes are occasionally incorporated into
the previously published corpus. The non-reference corpus is updated
irregularly, approximately once a year, and mostly without prior notice.
